Signs of the APOCALYPSE?!

#1- A family in China, borrowed their neighbor's cat after a mouse had invaded their home. It seemed like a very good idea until the cat and the mouse became fast friends (there's a children's story in there somewhere!). The cat "neglected his duty," complained the man who had borrowed the cat. "They are friends, and the cat even cuddles up to the mouse."

#2- A black Lab mix, from Seattle, named Jack, got stoned from head to tail after swallowing marijuana at a local park. "His eyes were kind of glossed over, very out of touch," said Jack's owner. "When he was trying to walk, he was looking at his paw, then looking at the ground and then trying to get the paw to reach the ground, but he was unsuccessful."

Methinks, kinda like most humans that get high! Is this the end, or will there be MORE signs?

Hi there...I found your blog while I was reading comments on SonyaAnn's blog. This post about the cat/mouse relationship reminded me of when my teens were younger and we had all sorts of animals, including a kitten and a white rat. From the first moments that those two met, it was *LOVE* big time. They played together, hung around together, and napped together. They both are gone now (RIP), and we buried them in the same spot. I never thought to view this behavior as the beginning of the end (as we know it)....hmmmmm...maybe there was more to it than I really knew! HA!!

Poor Jack....I bet he doesn't touch the stuff after that experience! LOL

MORE signs?! Nooooo! & I have to wait on top of that?
Seems I'll be VERY impatient for the END of the world. I hate to wait!

THANKS for your comment your worshipfulness. :-)

Are you stoned .beee. or just throwing them? If you're throwing them, beware of glass houses. I got a NASTY cut once. ;^)~

Hey AM, are you a morning person? Get it? A-M?! OK, not funny.

See that? ANOTHER sign of the Apocalypse! THANKS for making me aware of that.

THANKS also for checkin' out my blog, & for leaving a comment. It's nice to see a new face around these parts.

These are too funny. I love the very idea of the cat and mouse snuggling together.

HA there...I read the A.M. comment...hahaha...too funny! I never, ever put those two initials together...seriously!! And, to set the record straight, I am NOT a morning person (can anyone tell me why birds feel the need to CHATTER so EARLY?), but my children have turned me into one. When I become an "empty-nester," I think I'll revert back to being a night owl! :)

I just like the very idea of snuggling- alas, I am not.
:-(

Good to hear from you again.

Hey there AM in the PM, at least as I type this. I can barely drink a cup of coffee in the morning let alone do anything else!

Here's to your mornings with a full nest until one day when the birds have flown & you return to your nocturnal ways. :~)

heyyy!
i'm finally back after my long hiatus from good ol' blogger.
the apocalypse? reeaally? could we be overreacting a little? when i turn on the tap and blood runs out of the faucet, then i may start to be worried, but until then...
i used to know this girl, though, who got a bunch of dogs drunk when she was little just to see if she could. it worked! they were bumping into things and everything.

~The girl who cried Wolfe.

Where are you?! I need some form of entertainment when there is nothing on TV, nowhere to go, nothing to eat, when the cat is sleeping, when my socks are in the dryer...

C. Louis Wolfe said...

WELCOME BACK IF- You've been missed here.

OVER-REACT?!...ME?!
You're so silly.

I hope you called the ASPCA on that girl, however drunk cats are allowable.

PLEASE don't cry Zetz!

Forgive me, I forgot that I'm here to entertain YOU when you're bored- I'm so sorry, & apparently you're quite bored. :^]

I think that the second one should be a children"s story too. But then I'm a bit on the naughty/odd side.

Hey Sonya-

Naughty & odd can be good, but are they in that particular order for you?

Myself, I am those things & so MANY others! :-)
Does that me naughty in an odd sort of way?
