Hippity-Hop

Holy rolling stones! Tomorrow's the BIG day. Happy Easter to one & all! If you don't celebrate, then I wish you a Happy Kiester! In honor of the holiday, I'm posting a "themed" WEIRD but is it TRUE?!- dedicated to Zetz.

A Croatian farmer is doing a booming Easter business in naturally laid green eggs.
Stipa Gregacevic was astonished when his prize hen, Fata, began laying the colored eggs at his farm in Forkusevci. "I can't really explain why it happens," he said. "Some say it might be because we put red pepper in the hen food."

I think Mr.G. should check with Dr. Seuss's estate before he advertises his green eggs. Speaking of eggs, I have to go lay some. I wonder what color they'll be.

I was recently reading a craft blog and apparently there's some way to transfer designs from silk fabric onto eggs. Not quite sure how that works, and it's a far cry from the PAAS days.

I always look forward to reading how Sally Forth will steal the ears off of Hillary's chocolate bunny.

Good job, Wolfe! Ya fixed it!

Any way, thanks for yet another Croatian dedication (I rhyme, deal with it)... I love green! The color has always been my favorite.

I would take my chances and eat the eggs...

Happy Easter to yourself! My aunt named Suzie (okay, Suzana... but we call her Suzie) is coming over tomorrow... we're watching Marley and Me (light-hearted flick). Also, I just watched Vicky Cristina Barcelona which was quite enjoyable.

I love Woody Allen!

*I'm rambling*

Toodloo!

Green eggs and ham! My favorite Dr. Seuss book when I was a wee child.
Happy Easter to all!

Those sound like they would be some fancy eggs, Cate. Now I'm VERY curious to see what they'd look like. On your way now & produce, so I may see thine eggs in all their artistic Easter glory! Runest along now young lady. You've much work to do! ;^)

To be honest, the Sally Forth (British term to move swiftly onward/forward?) strip wigs me out a bit as it's hard to tell male from female. When I first saw it in the paper I was impressed that papers were so open-minded as to carry a strip that featured lesbians- silly me.

As you predicted, she (SF) ate the ears off (her daughters?) chocolate Easter bunny! :-)

THANKS Zetz! I recently enjoyed VCB myself. An interested plot-pointless movie- never have been a fan of Woody's, although I do admire his creativity & film output. Several years ago I sat a few tables over from him at a restaurant in NYC.

Marley & Me?!...um no. How 'bout Bob Marley & me. It's about a stray dog from Jamaica & his stoner owners. ;^)~

TOOD-A-LOO!

Hey CTW360! Happy Easter to you & your family! You have good literary taste! Aren't you STILL a "wee child."? ;-)

Hey, it wasn't MY choice to watch Marley & Me.

My aunt refuses to watch anything besides cute family flicks and romantic comedies.

Sigh...

HAPPY EASTER!

He should try for purple next...
And yeah, Green Eggs and Ham comes to mind. :) If only we were all little children who could gather in a circle and have the book read to us- until, of course, the floor blasts off from under us and carries us up to the moooooooonnnn....

THANKS for leaving a comment, Maria! ALWAYS appreciated.

You have a creative imagination. In my head I'm still a kid- I just try not to look too close into the looking glass! :-)

I'd love to be read a story, but I can't go to the moon until I'm done w/my NASA training program- Oh, & I need a permission slip from my mom! :^)

what we need is a hen who lays chocolate eggs...

Mmmmm chocolate!

Yes we certainly do need a hen like that! I think more people would be willing to care for it & would be MORE than happy to clean it's pen. ;-)

I wonder if I can score a hen like that on Amazon.Com?!

THANKS so much for the comment Nariane. I appreciate you stopping by.
