Blue in Jersey

Just got home a bit ago. It's cold, rainy , & dreary out.

I think it'll be a good night to light some candles & play some cool, slow, sad jazz. I may have to throw on some Ella, Lady Day, King Cole, & perhaps a bit of smooth cooke. That cats got soul in spades & of course Cole's the velvet crooner. I'd better toss on some Peyroux as well to round out the mix.

Now where's that fire place, I know I left it around here somewhere.

And there's always Kind of Blue by Miles Davis.

Fireplace. Great idea. I should do that too. The weather's going to be yucky here all week, and I just cut up some cardboard boxes that I could burn.

I've been in a bad mood all day...

Ahh, well. With the help of Dexter Season 2 and a mango, I'll be better in no time!

Chillax, my friend. Music is a nice way to start...

I've never been able to get into Miles for some reason, Cate. EVERYBODY loves him so why don't I? Maybe I'm listening to the wrong stuff?

Have you ever listened to Gordon Dexter? His "Ballads" disc is OUTSTANDING! At least to me.

Fireplace, yea I wish. I don't actually have one. Apparently YOU do :-(

Enjoy. Try not to burn the house down! :-)
